“Don’t care what people say
Just follow your own way
Don’t give up and use the chance
To return to innocence.
That’s not the beginning of the end
That’s the return to yourself
The return to innocence.”
When I was a little girl, my Mom, Dad, and I would watch Shirley Temple all the time. I always curled up on the floor with a pillow and blanket and would just love watching her. Good family memories ~smile~
I woke up this morning thinking about friends and friendships, what it means to different people, how others may handle situations where one or the other gets hurt, is there ever a time to draw a line and say enough? When I go to those thoughts though, I feel I will lose what’s most important in me and that is the love I feel for others. Some call it stupidity and say this person or that person is taking advantage of you, but I view it differently. When I love, I love with all that I am and can be. It may not always be what a person wants and that is where acceptance comes in for me on both sides. I believe that as you do something more and more in your life it becomes easier and natural. So, to love and hold close those who will accept it would make it easier to love and grow in a good direction, or to cut the line of a friendship when something goes wrong could also become easier if a person kept choosing to do that. I’m not saying these are solutions for every or any situation, as with anything in life all situations are different and unique. I am just on a ramble this morning, please forgive me, I am pre coffee lol. I was just wondering how others dealt with situations in their friendships.
Aside from my rambling thoughts, I do wish all a wonderful day filled with laughter, love, and sunshine (you know the kind that is there even when the sky is gray).
