Shadows of darkness,
I lurk and hide,
An aching soul
That does abide
Within a realm
Of an underworld,
Where hopes and dreams
Become unfurled.
A solitary soul
That seeks the one
Who will understand,
Before I come undone
Drifting deeper
Thoughts unveiled,
Will I discover,
Or have I failed
To really see
What truth resides,
Within the darkness
Where I hide?
