The World Of Digital Books

Books…books…and more books

For those of you that love to read, there are apps for a Kindle Reader for your pc, iPad, phone, ect… I have the apps on all my devices, and an account with Amazon. I personally love the real thing, the feel, the smell, and of course the content of my books, but I have recently been doing the digital thing and am completely and utterly amazed at all the free books that are available for instant download to whichever device you choose it to be sent to. You also never have to worry about losing your book because Amazon keeps a library of your books and you can re-download it if necessary. There are books of every genre available for free and they keep changing them. It’s not only the classics that are free but many new books are offered for free, you just have to do a search every few days to see which new ones are available. I also download the children’s books for when I have the chance to read to my grand-babies. My collection on my iPad is nearing 1000 or more books. Yes, I would love to have the real book but I do have to admit am enjoying building my new digital library, and it’s been completely free.

 

Acceptance And Letting Go

Sometimes in life we want to cling to things or people we love, not wanting the situation to change in fear of losing something we love, yet at the same time we have to be able to step back and loosen our grip in order to see the goodness that will come from letting go of something we have no control over. There are times in life where we have to simply let go and let the wind carry us where it may, learning the lessons along the way.

Walking away from situations that you want to cling to is one of the hardest things to do. One step at a time, one day at a time is how we do it, and no matter how much it hurts, how depressed or sad you may be, walk away with your head held high and let no one see your pain…you can crash and fall to pieces behind closed doors

There are things that we don’t want to happen but have to accept, things we don’t want to know but have to learn, and people we can’t live without but have to let go.

Let Go

There comes a day when we wake up and realize, “It’s time to let go.”

When you do decide to let go of things from the past, things that may be holding you back and keeping you from moving forward and growing…when you really do decide to let go…you’ll feel a sense of freedom, like a weight has been lifted off your shoulders, for it’s no longer your responsibility to bear that weight. You are free to learn and grow, you are free to fly…no longer held captive by your past as you simply…….let go.

And once you are free……you can be held captive by “someone” in a good way

Of things so do beware.

New learnings to take place,

The other worldly race,
